"If you’re a business owner you need to read this book! Using her own experience with a dishonest employee, Cheryl Obermiller illustrates the mistakes business owners make by placing unlimited trust on an employee. Her “Business Bible” is a clear step by step method to managing a business and avoiding the pitfalls."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Reads like an inviting novel yet filled with everyday lessons with ironclad information about business fraud prevention set in a pertinent and relevant, easy to read and enjoyable manner.
Anyone with not only a small business or non-profit will gain insight, and also if you work in a large corporation, you will learn valuable information from this treatise. It is a compelling, interesting and fascinating read. I can't recommend this book enough."

5.0 out of 5 stars Fraud doesn’t take a holiday ... can you afford to?
"After reading FraudPoints! By Cheryl Obermiller … I am overwhelmed … overwhelmed by the amount and level of fraud that happens in any business—whether a for profit or nonprofit. Her riveting story that opens the book that reveals how her trusted bookkeeper/accountant and FRIEND stole over a million dollars while she was in the next room should rattled any business owner to their core. How she got the FBI involved and how the court sent her to the state penitentiary will have you cheering … but then you realize that what Obermiller did was the exception, not the rule. Most thieves get away with it. The book is a treasure chest of what to look for; how to prevent it; what the red flags are to look for; and so much more. As a business owner, this is the manual and guidebook every small business should have."

5.0 out of 5 stars Even if you think you are not a victim
"I was given this book by a friend who said"Tell me what you think of this book?' I have never been defrauded before, nor do I own a business. I planned to just skim this book. Once I read it, I realized lucky I have been! Fraud Points is really a story within a story. It is the business side of how, who and when this can happen - which I thought I might just breeze through this part, but turned out to reveal to me how truely lucky I have been in daily life to have not made several careless mistakes. It is also the persoanl journey of who and how Obermiller was defrauded; not just once but several times. She identifies what I think I would feel and think..so it was the denial phases which were especially interesting. I left this book feeling informed and entertained. I then passed it onto another person who bought the audio version!
