Cheryl Obermiller is an expert in small business fraud. As the owner of Obermiller Construction, she built a business from the ground up to become a successful multi-million dollar company that employs dozens of men and women. And she did it after undergoing a betrayal and embezzlement from a trusted employee; dealing with an out-of-control aggressive IRS representative; spearheading the prosecution that sent the embezzler to prison; and did it while raising eight children.
She is author of FraudPoints! The Small Business Owners’ Guide to Outwitting Embezzlers, Thieves, and Scallywags. As a frequent speaker and media guest, she reveals the discovery of the embezzlement of her company over an eight-year period, and how small businesses (under 100 employees) can discover through her unique FraudPoints System if fraud is in play, how to deal with it, and how to successfully prevent it from happening.
Cheryl is an animated storyteller and no-nonsense businesswoman who delivers practical solutions to global audiences. Her Keynotes, Workshops and Trainings will engage audiences of all ages; her delightful sense of humor will leave them elated that they spent an hour or a day improving their business skills with her knowledge and expertise.
